| THE ENVIRONMENT |

The NISSAN TITAN DESERT MTB MARATHON has a strong commitment with Morocco; its people and, particularly, the environment. The passage of a giant caravan like that used in this race and the people participating and organising the event, along with all of the logistics needed, must be undertaken with great care given the severe impact that they can have along the course of the race.

passage, leaving everything just the way we have found it. Throughout the race we take extreme care to collect and recycle any waste created.
When the camps are broken down and restored absolutely everything is left in its original state, leaving nothing behind. The same is true of all of the provisions passed out with great care taken to assure that all water bottles and other waste are collected. Another important aspect is that the regulations prohibit the riders from polluting in any way, prohibiting them from throwing away the pages of the road book during the stage to prevent any paper waste along the way.
RPM and NISSAN TITAN DESERT MTB MARATHON consider the care and respect of the environment as an intrinsic part of the race philosophy.
