The Reebok Sports Club La Finca in Madrid welcomed the official launch of the 2012 edition of the Milenio Titan Desert by Gaes with the announcement of the new corporate category. With more than one hundred cyclists and athletes, the desert race unveiled a new way to enjoy this mountain bike adventure.

A month after opening the registrations of the next edition of the Milenio Titan Desert by Gaes and following the conference in Barcelona and Granada, the most famous mountain bike race in Spain was officially launched in the capital. In front of hundreds of guests who braved the rain and wind that hit the center of the peninsula it was presented the seventh edition of the race that will take place in Morocco from April 29 to May 4.

One of the major news announced in the presentation is the introduction of a new category in the rules of the race called Corporate Category and seeking to open the experience of the race to business as a communication tool and 'team building' strategy. Those companies interested in promoting the values ​​of sacrifice, teamwork and partnership have in the race of the desert, and through this new approach, a unique opportunity to develop and enhance these qualities among their workers through the sport and the adventure.

The peculiarities of the category in the race development are focused on the requirement to have three team members to perform the entire route together with a maximum time allowed between the members in the check points and the finish line. "We want to see the teams representing companies working together. We believe and promote the sport as the main tool for development and growth values, personally and professionally, so companies can found in the race a new way to promote core labor values on day to day workers situations" said Felix Dot during the presentation.

Another innovation was the incorporation of the company SiS (Science in Sport) as a new official supplier of the race. The sports energy products company becomes part of the race and will provide participants with gels and energy bars during the stages.
