Madrid, December 14th 2017. The Titan Desert by Garmin gathers people who is passionate about bikes and adventure. Precisely the same passions of ASO, organizers of rally Dakar, Tour de France, Vuelta a España and especially Roc d’Azur, a most do on the MTB world that now will have a more extreme companion in Africa.
Linked since more than 20 years to RPM-MKTG (eDreams Mitja Marató de Barcelona, Zurich Marató de Barcelona, start of the rally Dakar 1995, 1996, 1999 and 2005), ASO associates to the Spanish company for the organization of the Titan Desert by Garmin with the purpose to, together, accelerate the internationalization of the event that in 2017 had participants from more than 30 countries.
Next year’s edition will be disputed between the Atlas and the Moroccan desert. More than 500 participants will face 6 stages, including a challenge in the mountains and the discovery of the big spaces of dunes of Merzouga’s region. The adventure enriches with the moments of convivence at a privileged atmosphere of an itinerant camp, installed every day in the middle of the desert. This is the authentic Dakar´s spirit in the world of MTB. The project includes the creation of a worldwide MTB race series, keeping the adventure spirit of the Titan Desert by Garmin.

RPM-MKTG, part of Dentsu Aegis Network since 2016, has 40 years of experience in the organization of all kind of sport events. Besides the Titan Desert by Garmin, they organize the Zurich Marató de Barcelona, Garmin Team Trail and the Powerade Non Stop Series, among others.
