| A SOCIALLY RESPONSIBLE TITAN |

Every year or Morocco has welcomed the race with open arms and 2011 will be no exception. During these five editions, we have organized the race in the areas of Ouarzazate and Er-Rachidia with the support of the local authorities and local workers.
In Morocco there are not the same facilities that we have in Europe or North America and for RPM Events, the company that organizes the Nissan Titan Desert, it's very important to give back to Morocco the help they give each year to the race. During the race almost the 60% of the

race staff are citizens of Morocco and organizers buy all the food, drink and supplies in the African country. At the end, over 60% of the total budget is spent in Morocco.
Parallel to the competition itself, there are a series of actions developed by the organizers and participants with numerous donations of educational and medical material, sporting equipment, clothing and money to the various associations in the villages that we passed through.
In 2007 and 2008, a Moroccan team from the village of Ramlia has participated in the race with the help of the sponsors and the organizers, who have donated all of the sports materials and bicycles and have underwritten the registration fees.
In 2009 The FUNDACION REPSOL in collaboration with RPM, made a donation of 300 wheel chairs and material for handicapped in his project 'VOLVER A VIVIR, PROYECTO EN AFRICA' (live again, project in Africa) helping a lot of handicapped people of Erfoud.
In 2010 MEDICOS SIN FRONTERAS (Medecins Sans Frontiers) was supporting a team that collects money for the ONG.
We are firmly committed to continuing with this relationship and hope to be able to help in the social and economic development of a region that has given so much to NISSAN TITAN DESERT MTB MARATHON
